Leaving Project B’s team, Alex headed to Project A’s team. He told the team what the client wanted and asked the team to analyze the effort to implement the client’s new requirement as well as the impact on the current schedule if the team had to do it right away. Alex would give the client a comprehensive analysis report and let the client decide where to go (Communications Skills).
The above example of Alex’s morning vividly illustrates how important comprehensive skills are to good project managers. You can learn the basic knowledge of those skills from PMP courses, but you must practice and learn from real projects to improve these skills to be a good project manager.
