Encinitas, CA – March 18, 2013 — Objectiva Software Solutions, a leading provider of software outsourcing services, announced today that its Xi’an Center has successfully assessed CMMI Level 5 certification, the highest level in CMMI quality assessment. Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is an internationally recognized standard for measuring the maturity of an organization’s software development processes and has become the primary benchmark multinational corporations use to judge offshore service providers’ abilities to deliver high quality software. This is Objectiva’s second CMMI Level 5 certification in China; its Beijing Center achieved the CMMI Level 5 certification in 2007.
An appraisal at maturity level 5 indicates that Objectiva is performing at an “optimizing” level. At this level, Objectiva continually improves its processes based on a quantitative understanding of its business objectives and performance needs. Clients will benefit from Objectiva’s ability to consistently deliver high quality software on schedule, which ultimately results in a lower total cost of software ownership.
“Achieving CMMI Level 5 certification is yet another indicator that Objectiva has joined the elite ranks of the leading software services companies,” said Nasser Barghouti, PhD., CEO, Objectiva. “CMMI Level 5 certification adds another credential to our quality commitment, which we have always promised our customers,” added Dr. Barghouti.
“We invested time and effort to attain CMMI Level 5 certification in our Xi’an center because we believe in delivering every project, regardless of where the work is done, with the highest quality and consistency. This certification adds to the level of confidence our clients have in our ability to deliver mission-critical software applications on budget and on schedule,” stated Yiping Tan, PhD., COO and General Manager China, Objectiva.
