Executive Management

Nasser Barghouti, PhD.

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Barghouti is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Objectiva Software Solutions. He is responsible for Objectiva’s technology services vision, strategic account technical oversight (Client Trusted Advisor), Chief Architect for Objectiva’s strategic accounts, and setting the technology direction of the company. He was previously VP and CTO of EMC Document Sciences. Prior to founding Objectiva, he was Global Technology Director at Oneworld Software Solutions, a global software outsourcing provider. Prior to that, he was associate director of Information Technology at Bear Stearns & Co in New York City, one of the world’s leading investment banks and brokerage clearing houses. Previously, Dr. Barghouti was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Research Labs in Florham Park, NJ and Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ.
Dr. Barghouti received his BS, MS and PhD all in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York in 1985, 1987 and 1992, respectively. His PhD thesis was titled “Concurrency Control in Rule-Based Software Environments”. Dr. Barghouti’s research interests are in the areas of software for the wireless Internet, enterprise middleware, large-scale software architecture, software process automation and improvement, concurrency control in database systems, and rule-based software systems. He has published dozens of papers in refereed journals and international conferences, and has given numerous presentations at leading research labs and scientific forums.

Robert Corace


Robert is the President of Objectiva Software Solutions and is responsible for overseeing the company’s rapid growth, global sales, marketing, and operations. His duties also include Chief Client Officer for Objectiva’s strategic accounts. A proven industry sales, delivery, and outsourcing leader in the software, technology, e-commerce and financial services industries, Robert joined Objectiva from the international technology services company Symphony Services. Over four years there he led strategic consulting and the financial services, E-commerce and Information Services business units. Corace joined the company in 2006 as part of its acquisition of VMOplus, a consultancy specializing in globalization, SaaS and SOA, where he was founder and CEO. Prior, he held operational, sales and technical management positions at Thomson Reuters, PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, W.R. Grace and Co., and Office Depot.
Robert has a Bachelor of Arts degree from DeVry University and continues his education at MIT and Babson College. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and is certified in PMI, Agile (Scrum Master) and Amazon Cloud.

Kelly Williamson

VP, Business Development

Kelly is the Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for growing Objectiva’s revenue streams and business partnerships, creating customer success with our key differentiators, and leading Objectiva’s delivery organization in the US. He works with the rest of the executive team to define the organizational strategy, to grow our sales channels, to ensure client satisfaction through effective account management, and to deliver on our promise of excellent software services. Kelly has over 19 years of experience in software engineering, sales, strategic and operational planning, and software services delivery. He has focused on enabling financial, healthcare and logistics organizations to realize their vision through rapid execution of technical solutions that meet the optimal level of quality, while having complete control over organizational assets. He has visionary concepts for software engineering best practices by integrating Analysis, Design, Development, Quality, Project Management, and organizational strategic direction. Prior to joining Objectiva, Kelly was Territory Manager at EMC where he focused on consulting sales and delivery for the Northwest. Previously he held operational and management positions at Wells Fargo Bank, DHL, Oneworld Software Solutions, and Chase (Hambrecht & Quist).
Kelly holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from San Francisco State University and is a Certified Object Oriented Java Engineer from University of California Santa Cruz. His delivery experience is further enhanced as maintaining a Certified Project Management Professional from PMI for the past 13 years running.

Yiping Tan, PhD.

Chief Operating Officer, General Manager China

His areas of expertise include software development processes, principles, and framework (CMM, SPS); project leadership, mentorship, and management; object-oriented analysis, enterprise systems design, and programming (UML, Rational Rose, C++, WebLogic, WebSphere); and pattern recognition, statistical analysis of experimental data; and simulation of random processes (Monte Carlo).
Dr. Tan earned an Executive MBA in 2008 from Peking University. Earlier, he completed his studies at the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS, in Beijing, where he earned his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in 1991 and 1995, respectively. During that period, he also attended classes at Stanford University while completing his doctorate. The results of Dr. Tan’s research and thesis on Purely and Semi-Leptonic Decay of D_s Messon were published in many prestigious international Physics journals. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 1988 in Physics at Fudan University, Shanghai. He is also an Agile evangelist and initially championed Scrum within Objectiva Software Solutions.

Cecilia Young

Vice President, Human Resources and Administration

Cecilia is the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Objectiva Software Solutions. In this role, Cecilia is responsible for all aspects of HR, policy, strategy, and management. Her role is key to the development and future growth of Objectiva and our clients. In addition, she plays a key role in various company restructuring, professional certifications and business development initiatives. Under her leadership, Objectiva has achieved distinctive and sustainable track records of scalability and employee retention. This, she attributes to not only the effective Human Resources programs, but also the company culture which nurtures autonomy, team work, communication, creativity and innovation.
Prior to joining Objectiva, Cecilia held senior management and executive positions as VP of Human Resources & Administration of Chinacast Technology, a Sino-US joint venture in satellite systems; Regional Director of URC Consulting, a headhunting firm specializing in the high tech and IT industries; as well as Head of Human Resources & Administration of the Emperor Group, a business conglomerate of public companies. Cecilia joined Objectiva in 2005.
Cecilia was awarded a Bachelor’s degree of Arts (hons) and a Post-graduate Diploma in Business Management by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has also studied Business Administration at the University of Toronto and Telecommunications Management at the Centennial College of Toronto.


Practice Director, Insurance and Document Management

Kim leads the Insurance and Document Management practice at Objectiva Software Solutions. In this role, she is responsible for successful delivery of all insurance and content management implementations. Kim helps direct the efforts of the Professional Services team in the Xi’an development center and is also responsible for managing Objectiva’s strategic partnership with EMC.
She has more than seven years of experience managing global teams on content management implementations.
Kim’s areas of expertise include helping clients develop strategies for implementation and long term management of enterprise content management systems as well as integration with policy administration, correspondence, claims and archive systems.
Kim’s extensive experience in both IT and Operations roles in Insurance combined with proven project management skills make her uniquely qualified to ensure project success and cost-effective implementations. Before joining Objectiva, Kim worked as a Technical Director and senior project manager at EMC Document Sciences and held roles in New Business management, IT and Compliance at Golden Rule Insurance.
Kim has a Bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University. She also holds the Fellow, Life Management Institute and Associate, Insurance Regulatory Compliance designations from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).

Ross Han, PhD

General Manager of Objectiva Xi’an Delivery Center

Ross is the General Manager of Objectiva Software Solution’s Xi’an Software Development Center. He leads the Objectiva Xi’an team, including staffing management, delivery and technology, local business development and sales. He is responsible for driving growth in Xi’an.
Ross, with Objectiva since 2007, has established global R&D service teams for a number of U.S. clients before taking responsibility for the Xi’an Center. Ross also lead the effort to certify our Xi’an center with CMMi 5.Prior to joining Objectiva, Ross was software R&D group manager at Cybersoft Digital Service Corp.
Ross completed his studies at System Integration and Management Institution of NWPU in Xi’an, where he earned his Doctoral degrees in 2005,and more than 10 papers were published based on his research result in prestigious journals. He also is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) .

Delivery Management

Jay Pan

Delivery Director

Jay is the General Manager of Objectiva Software Solution’s Xi’an Software Development Center. He leads the Objectiva Xi’an team, including sales, business development, delivery and technology. He is responsible for driving growth in Xi’an.
Jay, with Objectiva since 2004, has established global R&D service teams for a number of U.S. clients before taking responsibility for the Xi’an Center. Prior to joining Objectiva, Jay was responsible for banking and securities industry software development at the Shanghai Zenitek Information Group
He is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) with certifications in Microsoft and IBM technologies. Jay holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Science & Technology, Beijing.

Peter Wang

Delivery Director

Peter is a Delivery Director at Objectiva Software Solutions. In this role he is responsible for leading the company’s delivery teams to provide high-quality software product engineering to the company’s clients. Peter is also responsible for helping build the company’s QA and testing practice, and innovation program.
He has more than ten years of technology and management experience in the information technology (IT) industry. His areas of expertise include international outsourcing strategy consulting; IT services delivery management and business analysis; software development process; quality assurance methodology and practice.
Peter has rich experience and proven success building and operating global outsourcing centers for both North American and European companies. Before joining Objectiva, Peter worked as a senior project manager at VanceInfo, Symphony Services and Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center. He is an Agile practitioner and has led teams in the design of metrics and SLA-based project modules. His efforts furthering the Agile methodology received recognition from Microsoft.
Peter has a Masters Degree in Software Engineering from Peking University and a Bachelors degree of Communication Engineering from Chongqing Communication College.

Bill Cui

Delivery Director, PMP

Bill is a Delivery Director at Objectiva Software Solutions. He is responsible for leading one of the largest delivery teams providing high-quality software product engineering to the company’s Financial Industry clients. He leads the effort to continuously expand resource capacity and capabilities in order to meet the requirements of Objectiva’s Financial Services clients.
Prior to joining Objectiva, Bill worked for IBM China and PitneyBowes as a software consultant. His areas of expertise include project leadership and software development processes, particularly CMMI and Agile. Bill has published several articles and white papers, including The Use of Agile Development in Software Outsourcing and A Sense of Belonging for On-site Engineers.
In 2008 he was recognized by the China System and Software Process Improvement Association as China Outsourcing’s Outstanding Delivery Person. In 2010, China Sourcing selected Bill as among the country’s Top 30 for Outstanding Person.
Bill was awarded a Masters Degree in Software Engineering at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2001.

Liang Guo

Chief Architect

Liang is Objectiva Software Solutions’ Chief Architect and leads the Technology Excellence Committee (TEC). TEC, composed of software architects and principal engineers, drives technology adoption within the company. Liang and his team provide technology support for client projects covering architecture design, performance engineering and code quality improvement. TEC looks externally to bring in new and innovative concepts, tools, and technologies to Objectiva. Internally, TEC seeks to identify exceptional engineering practices and help deploy them across the organization.
Before joining Objectiva, Liang worked in software R&D at Tong Tech, a leading Chinese middleware company. Prior, he worked in CAD/CAM software development, implementing an innovative 3D feature-driven modeling system.
Liang received his Bachelor Degree of Mathematics Degree from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
